This was a lighter day, performance-wise, with no 1:30 concert for the full choir, the Cardinal Chorale entertained a large crowd in the Janis Center Auditorium. Cabot Rea, a Columbus newscaster with WCMH, channel 4, was guest soloist at ODNR. Mr. Rea sang 'Georgia on My Mind', and the 2nd verse of the 'Battle Hymn.' He is a former music teacher, and is active in musical theatre. It was a pleasure for the choir to host him. Thanks to staff member Wendy Foster for contacting Mr. Rea!

The non-vocal talents of choir members were featured tonight at the talent showcase. Acts included dancing, skits, original poetry, flag routine, yo-yo tricks, double-jointed egg breaking, the percussion line, and of course, the staff song (with apologies to Josh Groban).
