Recruit Day and Buckeye Senior Chorus
Today was a very busy day, with an early performance at the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame breakfast. It was also our 6th annual 'Recruit Day', during which the choir was joined for the by students from across the state who wished to spend a day with the AOYC and possibly apply for membership next year. The recruits were amtched with a choir mentor for the day. They rehearsed 3 pieces with the music staff, marched with the choir, and performed at three concerts during the day. The Buckeye Sr. Chorus also joined the at morning rehearsal, practicing the "Battle Hymn, " as well as entertaining the choir with one of their own selections. Although it was a very hot & humid day, the choir used the "as if" principle and overcame the adverse weather.
