Alumni Day!
Alumni Day had a new look to it this year, with an alumni rehearsal led by Mr. Snyder. The annual membership meeting was combined with the Glenville Thomas Memorial Concert, and featured performances by the 2005 edition of the AOSFYC, and the 'all-sing.' A large contingent from the first European tour was on hand to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Dean Newsom, who was instrumental in organizing the reunion, was awarded the first "Outstanding Alumni" award. The 1964-1965 choir also made a $300 donation to the Glenville Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund in Dean's name. Huge audiences greeted the choir at each performance. Sharing the new trophy for having the most members present were the 1965 and 2000 choirs.
