Sale of Champions and Final Concert!
Well, what can be said? It was one of the warmest, okay-- HOTTEST fairs in recent memory, but the choir didn't whine or complain.. they just followed their dream to a wonderful conclusion. In addition to the musical performance, choir members took a collection and presented Marty Foltz, a.k.a. 'Laundry Lady', with a gas card to help pay for gas as she travels the state many times during the year doing great things for the AOSFYC. The Distinguished Service Award was presented to two men who have served the choir with distinction for many years. Ricardo Winterstein is a former staff member who volunteers his time and energy into maintaining the web page and message boards. Chris Nethers is a long-time staff member who serves as the choir's health and safety officer, but does much more than that official title. Both gentlemen are respected and admired by choir members and parents. CONGRATULATIONS RICARDO AND CHRIS!!!
