Once again this year, we will attempt to give families, friends, and alumni a daily update of what is happening at the 2005 Ohio State Fair. Please remember that several staff members put this site together after lights out for the singers, and after the nightly staff meeting! It is possible that some updates will not be uploaded until the next morning.

Welcome New Staff Members!

New staff members to the 2005 AOSFYC include: Renee Geyer and Lann Martin on the Equipment Staff, Chelsea Foran and Alex Daw to the Office Staff, and Dixie Heck on the Music Staff. While not a new staff member, Jen Sper is moving from the office to the music staff.

"Red Letter " Performance Days

Wednesday, August 3 - Opening Day
The Opening Ceremonies will begin at 11:00 AM, marking the first performance of the 2005 AOSFYC!
Sunday, August 7 - Celeste Center Concert with the AOSFB
Always one of the highlights of the fair, the 1:00 Celeste Center Concert presented with the All-Ohio State Fair Band in the air-conditioned Celeste Center.
Friday, August 12 - Recruit Day
We will have students joining us for the day to experience the AOYC firsthand! They will meet current choir members and staff, and also perform with the choir throughout the day.
Saturday, August 13 - Alumni Day
A busy, but inspiring day for alumni and currnet choir members. Come early ... seating is at a premium today!
Sunday, August 14 - Final Concert
Following our 2:00 performance at the Sale of Champions, the final Parents Concert will take place at 5:00 PM.

Larry has provided the AOYC a demo set of a brand new product, the MelodyWave Instrument to use in
performances during the fair. The choir is honored to be one of the first groups in the nation to use this
innovative product 'in the field.'
