Sale of Champions and Friendship Finale
As it seems every year, our time together has passed much too quickly. After worship services and dress rehearsal with the Roscoe Brass, it was time for the Sale of Champions in the Celeste Center. During the pre-concert warm up, Sam Cole, Chelsey McPeek, Kevin Nesbitt and Ryan Garrett were named as "Sparkplugs" by the section leaders.
The Friendship Finale Concert was one of the finest performances of the fair. In addition to the music, Sparkle the Clown, Outback Jack and Grandma Ace were honored with the Youth Choir's Distinguished Service Award for 2006. Their love of the Youth Choir over many years has led them to bake cookies for the entire choir, help out at cleaning day, assisting at registration, and of course, sending out countless Christmas cards. Clown-gratulations!
Mr. Snyder received several gifts from the four year members and the entire choir, including, a stained glass version of this year's logo, a book with art work depicting Ohio's 88 counties, which was signed by many choir members, a donation to the Glenville Thomas Scholarship Fund, and a check for the "Tin Condo Fund."
