A Day of Firsts
Opening Day! With a high today of 95 (not counting the heat index), everyone was feeling the heat during the opening ceremonies. Fortunately, there was a breeze for most of the day. At 8:45 PM it is still 90 degrees here in Columbus. The choir has been amazingly resilient to the high heat, and did not let the heat and humidity effect their performances. If you are in Central Ohio, tune into ABC/Fox channel 6 between 7:00AM and 8:00 AM when 8 choir members and staff member Wendy Foster will be featured in a story on the National Anthem Roadshow.
