A Beautiful, Busy Day
The temperature and the humidity were both lower today, making for a very pleasant day at the fairgrounds. The choir began the day by opening the National Anthem Roadshow for Ohio. The roadshow will be at the fair through the 6th. Go to http://www.tnap.org/roadshow.html for more information. Right after the 11:00 Janis Center concert, the choir received a call that the Columbus NBC tv station had a live remote from the National Anthem Project, so the choir marched over and performed for a live television audience during the noon news broadcast. The band and choir performed a joint concert in the evening in preparation for the Celeste Center concert on Sunday.
