WE Need a Web Team

Greetings from the alumni board,

As most of you know our AOSFYC.COM web site has been in existence since the late 90's thanks to the efforts of Ricardo Winterstein, who originated and has maintained the web site since he built the site. He has put in many hundreds of hours making sure that the site was up to date and running well. He has done a fantastic job almost entirely on his own, and by the way all for free. He is now asking for some relief and some help in maintaining and updating the site. Due to constraints in his personal and professional life he really needs our help.

He and the board of directors of the alumni association feel it would be an advantage if we formed a web team. A web team would be a group of people who are well versed in web page building and design. Also the group would have people assigned to certain duties such as message board maintenance / monitoring. And others who could help with keeping the e-alumni list up to date. And other duties like gathering and building archive files. Correspondence with the alumni of the association is also a time consuming issue since there are now over 10,000 alumni out there.

So, we are searching for and asking for HELP from some of you very computer literate people. Can you design and maintain a web site? Can you work with data bases? Do you love to "stay in the loop" with what is going on in the youth choir? Do you just love to stay in touch with your friends? Well, here is your chance. We need computer people. I'm not the absolute best at it, but I am taking a web publishing class and a few other information tech classes at the college. I'll help in any way I can. Helping with the web design stuff would be good practice for me and its always good to stay in contact.

I would be willing to help any way I can. I have a website for my side business. I could help with the Aluni or whatever is needed.
